Charming antique blue and white transferware plate made by Seaforth, England.
It features a beautiful Oriental Chinoiserie-style landscape scene with a pagoda, figures, and trees, surrounded by an ornate floral and lattice border.
The underside bears the Seaforth “Made in England” backstamp, with the distinctive interlocking knot mark and pattern number “2.”
This is a lovely example of early 20th-century English pottery inspired by 19th-century aesthetic movement designs.
